Design and Build
The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Ultra impresses immediately with its gorgeously designed, thin, and light gray chassis. Weighing approximately 4.17 pounds, this 16-inch laptop offers remarkable portability for its size. Samsung has focused on aesthetics without compromising on build quality, using premium materials for a sleek, modern finish.
The internal design also features an advanced cooling system. Components are redesigned across a larger surface area to ensure more even heat distribution. This helps to maintain optimal performance even during demanding tasks.
Display
One of the standout features of the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Ultra is its 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. This anti-reflective screen boasts a WQXGA+ (2880×1800) resolution, delivering incredibly sharp images and vibrant colors. With a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate, visuals are fluid and engaging, whether you are editing photos, watching movies, or simply browsing. The display quality makes content truly pop, rivaling dedicated monitors.
Performance
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Ultra is a powerhouse. It features the Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 356H Processor (Series 3) paired with a substantial 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM. This combination ensures smooth multitasking and efficient handling of demanding applications. For graphics, the NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 Laptop GPU provides robust performance for GPU-accelerated editing, 3D rendering, and even light gaming. This makes the samsung galaxy book 6 ultra rtx 5070 review segment particularly positive for creative professionals. While some raw power benchmarks might favor heavier, less portable rivals, the overall user experience is excellent for its category.
Battery Life
Samsung claims up to 30 hours of video playback on a single charge for the Galaxy Book6 Ultra. This impressive figure suggests that you can expect exceptional longevity for everyday productivity and media consumption. However, users note that battery life significantly decreases when the powerful RTX 5070 GPU is under heavy load, which is typical for high-performance laptops.
Connectivity and Ecosystem
Connectivity is comprehensive, with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB Type-A port, and a full-size HDMI 2.1 port capable of supporting 8K@60 and 5K@120. There’s also an SD card slot, a welcome addition for content creators, and a headphone/microphone combo jack. For wireless connections, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 ensure fast and reliable networking.
